New Pathos amplifier wins CES Innovation award
The new integrated amplifier from Pathos
Acoustics has been awarded the prestigious Innovations Award at the 2004 Consumer Electronics
Show in Las Vegas.
The stunning new INPOL2 is the latest amplifier from Pathos to use
the company’s patented INPOL® proprietary technology featured in the renowned, award winning TT
and InPower amplifiers, so-called as it represents the 2nd generation of the Class-A
technology. The new amplifier is a completely balanced dual-mono configuration in a
chassis derived from the popular style of the Logos integrated.
The INPOL2 is, like all INPOL designs, a pure Class-A amplifier that delivers 50 watts per
channel in an amplifier that is sure to be acknowledged as one of the best available. According
to the principals of the INPOL technology the INPOL2 is a hybrid design featuring a tube based
preamplifier section and a solid state power section that also uses a switch mode power supply.
